This picturesque, 300-year-old windmill – the last remaining on the Island – inspired JMW Turner to paint it in watercolours in 1795 and is now managed by the National Trust. Explore its four floors – a model and a short film about milling show how the windmill would have worked and a hand quern illustrates the action of the millstones. Children’s trail sheets, hot drinks, ice creams and gifts also available.
