Located in the medieval castle itself, Carisbrooke Castle Museum was founded in 1898 by Queen Victoria’s youngest daughter, Beatrice, as a museum of local history. From 10am all year round, with reduced access in winter. Museum entry is included in the admission price for the castle, but museum-only tours can be arranged for pre-booked groups.
