The courtyard café at the charming Chessell Pottery Barns serves tasty light lunches, often using locally sourced ingredients, wine and real local ale as well as home-made cakes, meringues and its award-winning Island Cream Tea – all served on hand-made Chessell plates. For a special treat, indulge in a full afternoon tea (booked 24 hours in advance). Open 21 March-1 November, 7.30am-5.30pm (closed Mondays during term time); 2 November-20 December, Saturday and Sunday, 10am-5pm.
