This all-weather museum has impressive life-sized dinosaurs set in a prehistoric landscape, as well as an amazing collection of fossils, from tiny insects to dinosaur skeletons. Guided fossil hunts are also available — these must be booked in advance. April, 10am-5pm; May-Aug, daily, 10am-6pm; Sept-Oct, daily, 10am-5pm; Nov-Mar, daily, 10am-4pm. Last admission one hour before closing. Adult £5, child £4, under-3s free, concession £4, family (2 adults, 2 children) £16.50, family (2 adults, 3 children) £19.50.
