Edulis is situated in a unique setting overlooking beautiful Ventnor Botanic Garden. The relaxing space boasts huge picture windows that bring the lovely surroundings of the Mediterranean Garden inside and give the feeling of dining al fresco within the relaxed setting of the restaurant. Head Chef Kirsty Lawrie brings a wealth of experience, having been restaurant manager for the Hambrough Group and the Hillside Restaurant. The ethos of Edulis (meaning “edible” in Latin) is to serve cuisine sourced locally and picked fresh from the Garden daily. Home-grown ingredients range from sweetcorn and herbs to courgettes, pumpkins, squashes and edible flowers. Unique Garden-made products are available in the gift shop, many made from rare and exotic homegrown ingredients. Open daily from April, 12pm-4pm.
