Situated just outside Ryde, Quarr Abbey is a working monastery set in a beautiful and peaceful setting. Located in its tranquil surroundings is the popular licensed tea shop and farm shop. Whether indulging in a cup of tea and slice of delicious cake or having a relaxed lunch al fresco, there is something to suit everyone’s taste. Adjacent to the tea shop is the farm shop, where you can browse through a variety of local products, including Quarr Abbey’s own ale, jams, chutneys and honey, as well as delicious coffee especially roasted for the monastery. Open seven days a week (except Good Friday). Summer, 10am-5pm (Sun 11.15am-5pm). Winter, 10am-4pm (Sun 11.15am-4pm).
