Enjoy country dining and freshly prepared food, sourced locally, in this garden centre. The bright, airy restaurant has stunning views over the downs and, weather permitting, offers an al fresco setting on the south-facing balcony. Breakfasts are from 8.30am, with traditional food such as quiches, pies, pastas and pizzas served from midday, as well as a daily specials board. Hand-made pizzas to eat in or take away can be ordered all day and are cooked in a wood-fired oven, giving them an authentic taste and texture. Roast lunches are served on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, with a range of home-made cakes and cream teas for sale throughout the day. Special dietary requirements can be catered for and gluten-free products are always available. Food served daily, 8.30am-5pm; lunch 12noon-3pm.
